In sumo, the banzuke is the official ranked list of wrestlers, hand-brushed onto scrolls and posted ahead of each tournament - a tradition stretching back to the 1700s. Ours borrows that same spirit: a fresh ranking every month, one that tries to capture what actually makes a great Yahtzee player - not just raw scoring, but the mix of skill, determination, and luck that makes the game worth playing in the first place. Yahtzeezuna
The grand champion tier - sumo's highest rank, reimagined. Reaching it takes a Power Score of 80 or higher, a bar set deliberately high: it's not simply first place, it's a genuinely dominant month across average score, high score, Yahtzees per game, and more. Some months nobody may clear the bar at all - it isn't guaranteed to be filled, and that's by design.
